Virtual Process Optimizer™

Virtual Process Optimizer™ (VPO) and Virtual Process Advisor™ (VPA) can be delivered fully integrated under the Virtual Pipeline Manager™ or Virtual Asset Manager™ platform or available as a stand alone applications.

Virtual Process Optimizer™ provides real-time status data, operational forecasts and on-line control for simple as well as complex processing infrastructures, e.g. multi-stream production processing plant.

The primary function of VPO is to determine optimum process set-points for any given combination of feeds, product constraints and equipment availability, process operating conditions for a use-specified target period. Control is achieved by sending these set-points for both individual and multivariable controllers in real time. VPO is designed to maintain a stable operating point when various disturbances are thrown at the processing facility. VPO is designed to minimize the amount of product reject rates while maintaining target throughputs.

Virtual Process Optimizer

A tandem application to Virtual Process Optimizer™ is the Virtual Process Advisor™ (VPA). VPA is an application that assists the operator with the start up procedures for complex processing operations. VPA guides the user, step-by-step, through the start-up process and checks with the SCADA system to ensure that the user is performing the correct steps in the correct order.
